I Built a Place for All of It

When I first started writing books, I didn’t exactly have “build an entire website” on my to-do list. 😂

But somewhere along the way, I realized I was creating more than books.

There were stories I wanted to tell. Resources I wanted families to be able to find. Advocacy work I wanted to share. Photos and memories from Horses & Hope. Pieces of my journey with myositis. And, of course, an approximately 95-pound German Shepherd who is convinced he deserves his own corner of the internet. 😂

Social media has been wonderful for connecting with people, but posts move quickly. Things get buried. Someone might remember seeing a resource six months ago and have no idea how to find it again.

I wanted one place where all of it could live.

So this website became that place.

It’s a home for my books, but it’s also a home for the things happening between the books—the advocacy, the community, the resources, the photographs, the events, the stories, and whatever comes next.

And I love that I don’t completely know what “whatever comes next” looks like yet.

If there’s one thing my life has taught me, it’s that some of the most meaningful parts of the story are the things I never planned.

So I built a place for all of it.

And apparently, I built most of it from my phone. 😂❤️
